I could keep going…the videographer, tournament organizer, referee, politician…there’s more but I’ll stop! The role of the youth coach is more complex than those from the outside looking in might see. To make a youth program get off the ground and keep moving forward, the people involved have to be dedicated, selfless and really enjoy what they do. Behind the teams on the floor, for that particular practice or game, there is a host of people responsible for making that event happen. Sometimes those people are easy to spot, like the coach, for example. A lot of the times, however, they aren’t. So, this is a ‘THANK YOU’ to the team, behind the scenes, pushing En Fuego Hoops Youth – Philippines forward!
